Principal – Culture and Business Transformation

Ownership Works is seeking a mission-driven, people-centered leader to join our Client Advisory Services team as a Principal. In this role, you’ll serve as a strategic advisor and hands-on implementation partner to private equity investors and public and private companies undergoing cultural and business transformation through shared ownership. Experience in industries like retail, manufacturing, or service-based sectors is especially valuable, as is a familiarity with the day-to-day realities of frontline workforces. This leader should bring significant experience working with leadership teams and different functions/levels in the organization to drive change within organizations — ideally in a people, culture, or operations leadership role — and be skilled at client-facing project delivery, team leadership, and navigating complex stakeholder dynamics.

The Principal will drive the tempo of engagements, ensuring that companies are efficiently and effectively moving through the stages of structuring and implementing shared ownership programs. We’re looking for an experienced, mission-driven professional to join our Partnerships team. This role is ideal for a strategic relationship builder who’s passionate about economic justice and energized by cultivating networks, designing programs, and collaborating across sectors.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Partnerships, the Principal will play a key role in engaging and expanding the Ownership Works’ partner consortium, a core driver of the shared ownership movement. This role will also lead the execution of our strategy to leverage the networks and connections of our partners to increase adoption of shared ownership in industries that employ significant numbers of frontline and hourly employees, like retail, hospitality, and healthcare.

Manager – Client Advisory Services

As members of the Client Advisory Services team, Managers play a crucial role in collaborating with investors and companies to design and structure shared ownership plans. They are responsible for managing relationships with Ownership Works’ private equity partners, helping them identify companies that are well-suited for shared ownership, and shaping the design elements of the shared ownership programs at those companies.

Managers are also responsible for supporting the innovation of new models for employee ownership to meet the evolving needs of our clients. Managers work closely with colleagues across the Client Advisory Services team, collaborating with experts in cultural transformation and employee financial well-being to deliver comprehensive solutions to our clients. This role is vital to scaling employee ownership and driving its adoption across new sectors of the economy.
