“The Ownership Advantage: Bringing Shared Ownership to the Middle Market” translates lessons from programs pioneered by large-cap private equity firms into a practical roadmap for smaller general partners.
Preliminary data featured in the paper suggest that investments with shared ownership programs have achieved an average multiple of invested capital above the market median, while often improving margins and reducing employee turnover.
The paper was co-authored by Ownership Works’ Ed Felenbok and Leslie Grueber, alongside Investcorp Strategic Capital Group’s Ravi Thakur, Tim Osnabrug, and Amanda Milunovich.
