Minnesota Rubber & Plastics employees around the world helped grow the business by finding ways to save money, reduce scrap, improve operations, and deliver greater value. Through the company’s broad-based employee ownership program, they also shared in the value they helped create.
When the company was sold, employees earned cash payouts based on tenure, with some earning up to twice their annual pay. Employees also received financial coaching to help them make informed decisions about how to use their payouts.
