KKR, one of Ownership Works’ Founding Partners, announced its sale of RBmedia to H.I.G. Capital in July 2023. When the sale was announced, RBmedia employees learned they would receive a payout based on tenure through the company’s shared ownership program, with some long-term employees earning up to double their annual salary.
